Hello friends,
Our hearts go out to all the families whose loved ones were murdered, fallen in battle, missing or kidnapped, with the wounded and with the regular and reserve fighters.
In order to prevent financial damage to our teaching and research staff, the management of the organization and the management of the university are making sure that we receive a salary for the month of October on 01.11.2023, according to the letters of appointment issued to us for the PhD.
The salary will be paid as an advance subject to the fact that we complete the classes that were not held due to the postponement of the start of the school year. All this on the assumption that the school year will open on 5.11.23, as announced by the committee of heads of universities. We will update you regarding online teaching during this period later.
We are aware of the fact that some of the faculty members did not receive an appointment letter and are working together with the university administration to ensure that the latest appointment letters are issued. If you are teaching in the first semester and have not yet received a letter of appointment, please contact your unit immediately and let us know by email at segel@segel.org.il
In order to ensure that you receive the advance payment that you deserve.
It is important for us to remind everyone that even at this time the organization is working to protect your rights. If you have been fired, if your job percentage has been reduced, if your scholarship has been damaged, or if your rights have been damaged in any other way, contact us as soon as possible.
