 As Wikipedia defines it, Rav-Kav (Hebrew: רב-קו, lit. "multi-line") is a reusable contactless stored value smart card for making electronic payments as a joint fare collection system for the different public transportation operators across Israel. Whether you are a tourist or a resident in Israel, the Rav Kav is a MUST. It is a very flexible way to get around the city and travel around the country (ahi ahi, except for the Shabbat time).  Actually, recently they implemented the Rav Kav access on the Monit Sherut (the shared taxi that travels across the cities also on Shabbat), but we highly recommend to check with the drivers! The Maurice and Gabriela Goldschleger School of Dental Medicine offers dental treatment services to everybody, included the Internationals in TAU. Their service is professional and high standard (possibly the best dentist clinic in Israel), where the 5th and 6th year students of Dentistry get trained under the strict supervision of the Doctors and Professors of the discipline. This means that you will be their "guinea pig", but don't get scared! It's a very appreciable service at an interesting prices. Dormitories around the university: Broshim and Einstein NOTE: the company that used to run Milman, Brodetzky and Ra'anana Dorms has sold out its properties, therefore the information you can find on their website can be outdated. Additionally, we have been reported that Brodetzky dorms no longer accept foreign tenants.  This story begins in January 2023, after the establishment of the new government led by Netanyahu and some "far right" folks. The government proposed a series of changes that will affect the judicial system and therefore the balance of powers withing the state. The proposal comes especially from Yariv Levin (Minister of Justice) and Simcha Rothman (Chair of the knesset's constitution, law and justice committee. According to Wikipedia , the idea is to limit the Supreme Court's power  when exercising judicial review, and to appoint judges suggested by the government.  If adopted, the reform would grant the Knesset the power to override Supreme Court rulings that deem legislation passed by the Knesset as unconstitutional, by reintroducing the legislation and approving it with a majority of Knesset members.
